When embarking on the quest to understand Feng Shui, the task can be daunting. There are over 81,000 websites devoted to the subject. In my own search for answers in the early 90’s, I had a million questions about how it worked, does it work, if I studied—what would be the best way to learn, who taught classes, could I be certified, and why are books so confusing? Over the years, those interested in learning more about this intriguing, deep, and esoteric practice have asked the questions below. I have lots of books on Feng Shui do you think they are effective?
Reading books on Feng Shui can be a way to introduce you to the basic concepts. However, books alone will not give you the solid foundation and skills required to practice Feng Shui effectively. Feng Shui requires a deep understanding of the fundamental principles, essential theories, and most importantly the analysis, interpretation and practical application of Classical Feng Shui theories and a knowledgeable teacher is essential.
Can you tell me more about what to expect with your courses?
These courses provide a solid, convenient method for those who would like to grasp the fundamentals of Feng Shui in the shortest possible time. The courses are designed to build on each other to create a solid foundation and body of knowledge. ACCFS’s courses are designed to teach you to practice Feng Shui as a professional consultant.

Does Feng Shui always work?
Feng Shui does not work when practiced incorrectly, nor is it magic. Much of Feng Shui demands good judgment and interpretation. Experience is certainly an important aspect of Feng Shui, therefore learning from a genuine Feng Shui Master will save you time, mistakes and frustrations. With our training courses, you can practice immediately with confidence and watch your Feng Shui skills excel.
What do you mean when you say "Classical" Feng Shui?
There are two main types of Feng Shui practiced in the world—authentic Feng Shui, known as Traditional or Classical and the westernized versions known as Black Hat Tibetan or Western Feng Shui. Classical Feng Shui is an extensive body of knowledge and living science that has been around for more than a thousand years. The western style has been around for about 28 years and is not authentic Feng Shui, rather a water-down version that is practiced incorrectly and without the use of a compass.
If I take your classes can I become certified?
The classes can be taken for your personal enjoyment or you may become certified by taking a written exam at major junctures of your training. There are three levels of certification. Level 1 Feng Shui Certification is granted after successfully passing an exam at the end of Module 10. Certified Feng Shui Professional is granted after successfully passing an exam at the end of Module 20. You may take all of the classes without taking exams and becoming certified, a Certificate of Attendance is awarded at the end of each class.
